Soap Story: Soaptopia started in 2001 as a vision in the Venice California kitchen of Jolie Chitwood Cox. "I was allergic to most bath products like so many people. Pure and natural essentials were difficult to find, so I decided to create them for myself." Jolie's bungalow transformed into an apothecary of flowers and natural oils. Friends and family began to enjoy the handmade, house reserve batches of soap, shared them as gifts and Soaptopia continued to grow.

Soaptopia natural handmade soaps, slathers, balms, baths and rubs are made with plant-based ingredients, essential oils and wild-crafted raw shea butter from Senegal. Jolie experiments with a wide variety of natural ingredients—including quartz sand from Lake Tahoe, pomegranate extracts, white sage rub and agave nectar in Soaptopia's 40+ pure eco-friendly soaps, slathers and salts.
