Our shaving soaps are made with vegetable oil. They are processed cold and super fattied up with castor oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, jojoba and macademia nut oil. When creating a shaving soap, we found that adding caster oil (and richer emolliant oils) helps in softening the beard and ensure a better glide with the razor against the skin.

I have a very thick beard and shaving has always been a hassle for me. I switched from Gillete to "The Art of Shaving" a few years ago as it was far and away better. When I discovered Soaptopia's product I again found a product far and away better than my previous brand and have never looked back. The shaving soap lathers in about 15 seconds with a wet shaving brush and gives a nice smelling, moisturizing shave. I've never had a better shave than with this product.
